What happens when one person links arms with another person and another? Can they really make a difference? Could they perhaps even save a life?

The Pro-Life Cougars were just a small student group at the University of Houston committed to sharing the truth about abortion. In the fall of 2001, the group had planned to display an exhibit featuring pictures of babies at various stages of development, but the University brought their plans to a halt. School officials denied the group access to the main part of campus saying the pro-life messages could be “potentially disruptive.”

The Alliance Defense Fund took the case. The judge ruled that the university could not discriminate against pro-life expression, and the Pro-Life Cougars were allowed to have the same access as other groups to put up their display.

A pregnant student was so influenced by the truth she heard at their exhibit, that although she had already made an appointment at an abortion clinic, she changed her mind.

Today, one little girl is a living testimony to the power of an alliance of God’s people - to make a difference.
